Situated on the ancestral territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking peoples, Gateway Theatre is a charitable, non-profit arts organization with the mission to enrich the quality of life in Richmond and surrounding communities by creating outstanding professional theatre and serving as a dynamic hub for the performing arts. Through our artistic offerings, we produce a breadth of stories that tackle the ideas, values and issues which reflect the diverse people of Richmond and the Lower Mainland. We bring people together through shared artistic experiences that encourage dialogue and exchange. We provide a platform for the whole community to contribute to, and benefit from, the performing arts.
